Kitchen, Private Client, Stockholm, Sweden

Set within a classic Stockholm apartment, this kitchen brings together Scandinavian simplicity and Japanese restraint to create a space that feels calm, refined, and quietly functional. A sculptural marble island becomes the centrepiece, softened by rounded edges and wrapped in fluted walnut timber that introduces warmth and rhythm throughout the room.

Natural walnut cabinetry is balanced with crisp white upper units, allowing the marble veining and rich wood grain to take centre stage without overwhelming the space. Thoughtfully integrated storage, concealed appliances, and a restrained material palette create a kitchen that is both elegant and highly practical for everyday living.

The design is completed with woven bar stools, matte black fixtures, herringbone timber flooring, and a sculptural pendant light that adds a gentle sense of movement above the island. Every detail was selected to celebrate natural materials, craftsmanship, and timeless design, resulting in a kitchen that feels warm, sophisticated, and effortlessly liveable.
