How long will it take to get my room E-design?
You will receive all the design plans via email approximately within 3 – 4 weeks from our receipt of all needed items (questionnaire, agreement, payment, measurement, photographs). All digital boards will be emailed in a PDF downloadable and printable file.
How can we re-design your property without seeing it or meeting you personally?
The advances of technology over the last decade have made things very possible for interior designers to work with clients over the internet. Times are changing and so is the way interior design is performed. To allow Making A Green Life by Lily to accurately understand your budget, space, needs and the look you want to achieve, we will ask that you to complete a client questionnaire provide us a rough sketch of the room measurements and photographs. We welcome inspiration photos you’ve found online as well. The more info you send the better we get to know you and your style preferences.
I’m not sure how to measure my space.
We will provide detailed measuring instructions for you at the beginning of the process!
Do you work within the budget given to spend on the plan you’ve designed?
Absolutely! We can work within just about any budget. That being said, our ability to create a dramatic transformation will be determined by what you’ve set aside for the project. Also since Making A Green Life by Lily selects only high-quality sustainable home decors from eco-conscious brands, expect to spend a little more.
Will I be able to purchase the items directly?
Yes! A number of home furnishing retailers have established an online presence, enabling us to provide you with a shopping list full of items which you can purchase on your own.
I am in a time crunch. Do you offer rush services?

Do you only design rooms based on your personal style or are you able to make other designs based on my preferences?
No! Making A Green Life by Lily offers only Sustainable Japandi Style.
HHow much do you charge hourly?
We charge €120/h.
Can some of my existing furniture pieces be incorporated into the design plan?
Absolutely! That is the most eco-friendly choice you can make. Our earnest desire to incorporate your own purchases and special finds is a hallmark of the approach to providing personalized.
If I have an open floor plan and two rooms are combined, which room do I select first?
In this case, we strongly suggest you purchase a design plan for both spaces. Spaces which open into one another tend to feel like a single space, and it’s not possible to truly transform the look without taking into consideration everything your eye sees in its single view.
What if I don’t like the Design Plan? Will my money be refunded?
We do everything we can to ensure we create a design plan that will be both functional and beautiful. From our continued communication, discussing your inspiration images and offering a revision round – we are confident we can create a beautiful design for you. The design fee pays for the time we dedicate to your project. Money will not be refunded if you are dissatisfied with the design that is provided.
Will you make changes to my plan if I don’t like something you’ve selected?
All our design plans include one revision to ensure that you are completely in love with your design. If we’ve missed the mark on an item or two, you may send us your thoughts. (*It must be requested within 14 days of receiving your mood board.) If you want to more revisions/changes after that will be an additional €120 hourly charge.
Once I have my plan, how am I able to ask follow-up questions?
After the receipt of your final design plan, our obligations to one another for that phase of your project are fulfilled. However, if you do have additional questions, we will be able to consult with you via email regarding your new design plan.
Do you manage, supervise or communicate with the contractors on my behalf?
No. That is what makes this option more affordable to you compared to traditional interior design services. You will be responsible for implementing the design. With E-Design design, it is purely a design handed over to you to execute on your own timeline.
